Format
The debate will follow the World Schools Debating Championships (WSDC) format but with shorter speeches, with two teams of 3-5 speakers facing each other.
The teams will be the Proposition and the Opposition, and each speaker will have six minutes to speak. During the second to the fifth minute of each speech, the speaker will also be open to questions or statements from the opposite team known as "Points of information." After the six speeches, each team will have the option to deliver a three-minute summary known as a reply speech.
The debate will focus on the role of AI in achieving sustainability goals in the 21st century, and we expect the speakers to present a variety of perspectives and arguments.
