REAL School Budapest is a COBIS Patron's Accredited Member school, having been quality-assured against a strict set of standards and recognised as offering a high-quality British education. The school is fully licensed in Hungary as a Kindergarten to grade 8 primary and middle school (ages 5-14).

Real-life learning, for a new REALity
Listen to the REAL School founder tell the story of why the school has come to life and what and how it intends to achieve. It's a story of climate change, bees and uncovering a new role for education.
The founding team has spent years at Green School Bali, and got completely heartwashed.
In 2019, they brought the inspiration and adapted it to Budapest, adapted to an urban and European cultural setting.
Why project-based learning?
Authentic project-based learning (PBL) is at the heart of the learning experience at REAL School. We call this process "Dream to Reality." Research shows that PBL enhances academic achievement, deepens understanding, and builds essential 21st-century skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration. (PBLWorks). And it's way more fun!
Are kids building strong academics?
Yes. REAL School follows the National Curriculum in England, with expert teachers and dedicated time for maths, literacy, and science. Through personalised support and meaningful assessment, students build strong academic foundations while applying their knowledge in real-world projects.
I love the feeling of excitement I get in the morning of taking her to school, knowing she will have a superb day and will experience so many new things. At the same time, I have the peace of mind that I leave her in a caring and loving environment.
